UPDATE - (from DUKE in Durham, NC)
Thursday's & Friday's appointments went fine... both of my children, who have suffered from a rare eye disease since birth, had a steroid implant put in their eyes to help decrease optic nerve inflammation <they have zero vision in their right eyes> - on Monday, Kati has cataract surgery at 630am and Jackson at 745am (east coast time) on their left eyes. Again, we are asking for fervent prayer during that time... please pray for the surgeon and that God calms all of our fears... and, the surgeries are super successful, giving both of them improved vision.
