It will not be San Antonio. SA doesn't have the corporate dollars to support more than one professional sports team. MLB isn't going to relocate a team to a city that a.) is already locked in to the Astros and Rangers and b.) will always play 2nd fiddle to the Spurs.

My guess is Vegas or Portland, for geography's sake. Hard to keep the A's in the AL West if they're in Carolina or Nashville.

If Vegas builds a ballpark, that would be a no brainer, but I'm a bit skeptical about that. However, I will defer to your local knowledge on Vegas's appetite for another publicly funded stadium.

Portland missed their window. I just don't see anyway, politically, that town is building a publicly funded stadium. Charlotte is an interesting market, but that would cause realignment problems. The Braves like having the southeast to themselves.

Yup. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in the NFC Central (now more appropriately named the North) with Green Bay, Detroit, Chicago, and Minnesota for 25 years.

Miami was in the AFC with New England, NYJ, Baltimore/Indianapolis and Buffalo.

Houston with Pitt, Cincy, Cleveland.

Dallas is in the NFC East with NY, Philly, and Washington.

It can work.
