What a lousy baseball team. 10+ free passes, several wild pitches, throwing errors, poor at bats, and on and on. Did someone tell the team that Childress is already gone or something? Last year it was clear prior to the season ending early that we were going to struggle in SEC play. Covid saved Rob then, but it appears there are no pitchers on staff like Dox or Lacy to cover all the warts.

Werner was 0-7 with a walk and 3 Ks in the first 2 games. Blaum and Harrison played the last 2 games on the left side of in the infield.

From what I've seen of his arm, Werner needs to admit to himself his future could be as a pitcher, not an every day player. And it appears we could use a hard throwing right hander in the rotation.

Right. I knew he struggled at the plate but figured Rob might give him an inning on the bump before a save situation (none yet, obviously). Maybe Wednesday night.

Man seems like a million years ago when all of premium was shilling for Childress when that defensive tackle chose Ole Miss over us for baseball. Well Ole Miss might be the #1 team in America. Us...well....
