yes on Wednesday.

Friday trailing 5 to 3 in the bottom of the ninth inning, Bryce Blaum (who put on a clinic on how to play shortstop all game long) singled. One out later, Hunter Watson blasted a two-run homerun halfway up the scoreboard to tie the game at 5 all.

Logan Sartori hustled his way to second on a double and Mikey Hoehner walked it off with a double to right center.

I watched a few innings yesterday. New Mexico JC (Kerrville initially) product Rody Barker had an impressive opposite field home run well over the LF wall. He seems aggressive and confident at the plate, and he was hitting near the top of the lineup.

I saw freshman Evan Vanek, TCU transfer Dawson Barr, and senior Jake Nelson pitch. Vanek was a draft risk in June, but I remember somebody posting with knowledge saying he was raw and likely would not contribute. Well, he was hitting 93 on the gun and didn't allow anything. Barr got dinged in his last inning of an extended outing, but looked solid topping out at 91-92. Nelson was at 91-92 which is less than he was at times last spring.

It was interesting that I saw lots of folks drinking beer in the club sections. I am assuming someone sold them some. I didn't try to sit down there, but noticed ushers blocking the walkway, when I first walked in. Did any non-club people sit in the club seats for the exhibition game?

The seats with pads sure looked warmer from where I was sitting. It was brisk for the National Anthem, and then got warmer later.

Ags win, is good with me. Hopefully the play at 3rd base was better than the scrimmage I made, defensively. We looked lost over there at times. I know it is still cold, so passes given.

Have you seen anything more than the scores? Do you know who was on which team or the lineup for the tames. I guess you don't require much.
