So, did he finish his degree before he left, or is that what he is here for now? Is he working on a masters in something? Just curious about the student assistant part. This is a really nice development for our program. I hope Cliff has a great time at it, and our guys learn a ton from him.

as an aside...is Naquin the only A&M position player in the majors right now?

That is correct. Wacha, Stripling, Mengden, and Minter are it for pitchers. Alex Wilson spent time with the Brewers but is in AAA, and Martin spent time with the Astros but is on the IL after being sent back to AAA.

Blake Allemand is the closest to the majors for position players. He is the only position player in AAA right now.

and have to say...that is kind of disappointing when compared to the other SEC teams that A&M has been competing against the last 7 years.

we've seen the likes of Bregman, Benintendi, Renfroe, et al play at Blue Bell. Have yet to have an SEC-era aggie hitter reach the show
