ULL has really fallen off the last 3 seasons. Stress induced heart attack(?) at age 57.

I don't think it was stress. Robe wasn't in the best shape. He'd put on a decent amount of weight over the last 8-10 years.

He was a hell of a man and will definitely be missed.

He was the coach when I was in Grad School at USL (ULL). I was hoping he would get the A&M job after Mark Johnson was fired. Prayers for his family.

He was the keynote speaker at a breakfast for the PONY World Series that my kid's team advanced to last summer. He was fantastic. I'm glad to know he is in Heaven. His focus on building men who were a asset to society, their wives, and their kids was good to hear.

I always liked Coach Robe, and am really unsettled as of his early passing. He was way too young.
