Did you see his other tweets? The one about "Maybe a future bird?" has me curious as to what he is doing in Aggieland. Was he scouting pitchers and that is what he is indicating?

His wife grew up in CS and I think her parents still live in Aggieland. If I recall correctly, her dad was the cartoonist for Cadet Slouch.

JP was likely just visiting town with his wife & he & Childress have become acquaintances.
