The pitching staff looked great last night. SHS was held hitless from innings 5-10, which is awesome (obviously). Chandler Jozwiak looked especially good, striking out 3 and facing the minimum 6 hitters.

Hunter Coleman was 0-3 with 3 Ks but he did work a walk after getting behind in the count in his first plate appearance if you want something positive to take from his night.

Shew was indeed a double away from the cycle. I was hoping they'd let him hit one more time to see if he could get it. Cole Taylor replaced him as a pinch runner in the 6th and went 0-2 with a HBP.
