As an Astros fan it was about as good as I could of hoped for in a close game in which the 'Stros trailed late. Strip did not get touched up but his short stint put the the LA bullpen in a bind later in the game. Hope for the best for Ross but if he wants me to pull for him in the postseason he'll need to pitch for someone other than the effin' Dodgers.

I should have qualified my statement... not good for Ross.

Yes, it really did help the 'Stros later in the game.

Man, it's feast or famine with him. I watched him in LA pitch 2 innings with 1 hit and 4 strikeouts against the Diamondbacks earlier this year. Then he sometimes does what he did in Game 2.

Wanted the Astros to win, but wanted Ross to do well, also. Glad to see him get out of the bases juiced situation unharmed, and close out the game. Couldn't yell against an AG. 5-3 outcome was icing on the cake.

Loved watching him last night. Seeing him get out of that jam and then going a scoreless inning... very cool to see him in the World Series!
