Middle infielder, originally from Sugar Land. Looks like he was pretty good in high school.

Hopefully others will have more info on him.

Looks like he played in 12 games, started 2 this year. 3-9 with 3 walks this year.

Clearly he missed Whataburger and girls that can read and write.

Is there no longer an added penalty for transferring within conference?

No restrictions from OM = Not a very good player?

He's better than Shewmake... #6 SS in texas in the class of 2016 according to PG. Shewmake was #7.

Not necessarily. Sometimes a program isn't the right fit for a player. Like Michael Barash wasn't going to beat out Scivique or Papierski for playing time, so he went to JUCO and ultimately had a productive two years at A&M.

Sometimes a move is the best thing for a player. Supposedly Ole Miss is recruiting well, so maybe he saw the writing on the wall.

I don't think baseball is like football, regarding transfers and restrictions. I don't know how good he is or isn't, maybe he just wanted to be closer to home. Who knows?

A good friend of mine played ball at LSU for a couple years then transferred to Alabama. That was in the early 2000's, when the NCAA didn't have restrictions on baseball transfers.

Looking like a pretty good transfer. Looks like Ole Miss missed out by not playing him.
