While the results weren't what we wanted, I had a wonderful experience going to Omaha for the first time and experiencing everything it had to offer. Four of us Raggies hit the road on Thursday evening to head towards the baseball holy land.
Our drive brought us to Auburn, NE where we discovered a tank and "Awesome Yankee Burritos." (Basically a hotdog with cheese and a fried tortilla wrapped around it.
Day one brought us some...interesting things including shirts and and interviews with the SEC network.
Day one was capped off by a wild storm.
Day two brought us much of the same shenanigans.
Day three was game day, and 203 North did their damnedest to help the Ags out.
Before we could leave, we of course had to stop by old Rosenblatt and blow bubbles at TD Ameritrade just one last time before hitting the road.
Overall, this was an amazing trip and I'd recommend it even on non-A&M years. For my first experience, I spent plenty of time getting to chat with players and family as well. I especially want to thank Corbin Martin's family and George Janca's family. They made us feel welcome over the whole weekend. Can't wait to go back there next year!
