Exactly. This year is GRAVY. If we don't win another game, it doesn't really matter considering we have already far exceeded expectations for this year. We build off this appearance with another one next year, and win a couple games next year.

I wonder if the players and coaches had the same mentality?

With Baylor and Texas starting to find their way again with Rodriguez and Pierce, I think the entire state of Texas in college baseball is about to enter one of its most competitive eras amongst Power 5 schools in an extremely long time
