Their goal is probably for each to pitch one game. Ours is to make them pick just one.
sips up 6-3. Texas state should've been out of the inning up 3-2, but the 3b had a brain fart and missed the easy third out at her base.

Right after I said she had a no hitter, she gave up a single. I take responsibility for this.

Not sure why everyone's upset... Texas St was and is the better team. Texas is a better match up for A&M plus the added bonus of personally sending the sips home.

Not particularly upset that the sips won, just wishing for a very hard fought exhausting extra inning game that would have meant that whoever won would have had little left in the tank. As it is the sips are probably the better match up for the Aggies to advance and certainly adds the old rivalry angle which should make for a fun Sunday.
Have to be encouraged that we have 20 hits in 10 innings batting, counting the one today where it looked like the ball hit Riley. 5 solid doubles today.
Texas State blew that game. They played the infield in with runners on 2nd and 3rd and would have got to the ball that went for hit and made it 2 out. Then their 3rd baseman could have jumped to the bag and gotten the force.

Don't think anyone is upset that the sips won. We just wanted them to win in the 56th inning (would have to be a record, right?) So that they got a 5 minute break before playing us.
Not upset per se. I just know that if history is any indication our pitchers strike zone will be small, our batters will be large, our baserunners will have to beat the throw by a full step, and our fielders will have to beat the runner by a full step/and or apply the tag while the sip is still a foot away from the bag.

OU's 10th was crazy. Gave up 2 because of their shift. Scored 4 in the bottom: single, 2 run homerun, single, two run homerun. 4 to the plate, 4 hits, 4 runs.
