A bit early for summer baseball but two Aggie freshmen pitchers (Ruffcorn and Bayless) have signed with the Madison Mallards of the Northwoods league.

Always enjoy these threads Foxo as it helps in my pursuit for more Aggie baseball cards. The good news already is that the Mallards produce a yearly set, so hopefully Ruffcorn and Bayless will be added to my collection. Kilkenny was not included in the 2016 set though as I think he was too late in joining the team to be included.

1. Michael Helman - Brazos Valley Bombers 6'1 Utility

Helman will have some high expectations from Bombers all-time hit leader, Coach Trey Porras. Coming off an incredible season where Michael was not only the NJCAA leader in hits (111), he also held the highest batting average at .497. Helman is transferring from Hutchinson Community College to nearby Texas A&M University this upcoming season. Michael will be a major weapon for the 4-time defending champions.
