They have to relocate the intramural fields first. This project just started a couple of weeks ago.

It is scheduled to begin shortly and completed in advance of the 2018 season.
We got an invitation for the groundbreaking ceremony that was scheduled for early September, but right before the ceremony date it was abruptly cancelled for what was described as a "scheduling conflict."
Since then we've heard nothing and in asking around with those that might know there is no word.
Seems weird but could be nothing to it...

Austin commercial has the contract but have been delayed.
Got an email last week from the TMF that they're shutting down some roads this week by the intermural fields to begin utility work. So I guess that means they're at least laying the groundwork to start.

If they put the same manpower into that stadium that they did for Kyle they would finish it in a month.

Got an "invitation" for the softball and T&F stadium groundbreaking ceremony in my email yesterday. It's scheduled for March 6th. They postponed the last one so we'll see about this, but at least that's a good sign for both facilities.

Just got an email saying groundbreaking ceremony was cancelled. That would be the second time a groundbreaking ceremony was cancelled. That doesn't pass the smell test.
