winning a super regional on the road is a tough thing -- regardless of whether or not the home team is a national seed.
some quick math...there have been 16 years (1999-2014) of super regionals x 8 per year = 128.
I read that there have been 35 road SR winners. So the home team wins the SR about 73% of the time. The road team 27% of the time. Basically 2 of 8 road teams win each year.
and the way things are going in 2015...two will probably be the number again (as home teams UVA, Miami, and UF have already pushed through)
