He did the 'raise my jersey to show I'm strapped' defensive celebration that's all the rage this season in football.

Can somebody tell him to knock it off cause I'm sure that's a T if a ref sees it.

I like confidence. Take the T.

All the restrictions in joy that college layered in amateurism as a theology were awful. Maybe the time has come to deregulate joy.

Counterpoint: gun violence

No one has ever been killed because of a celebration. The Bullets changed their name to the Wizards and murder rates didn't change. Bring back the throat slash too.

And people accuse me of being weird…

I don't mind the faux violence. I don't mind pretending to shoot bullets. I don't mind any of that. It might be unnecessary but speech needs to be less regulated especially by colleges.

I don't like the reference, but I have never seen a technical after the game is over.

I'm a (very) conservative guy, but "less regulated" is still regulated. If someone flips the bird at an opponent, ref, or fans would that be ok? How about a gang sign would that be ok? There has to be a line drawn between what is acceptable and what is not.

When I coached, I always told my players "let you game do your talking". That is definitely out of fashion these days. To me, finger waving, 3-year old glare downs, finger across neck, flexing your guns looks embarrassingly amateurish.

This falls on Coach Williams. He dictates what is acceptable on his team.

It wasn't actually over. .5 was put back on the clock for freethrows. A 6 pt lead would've suddenly been in jeopardy.
