Committee is going to have its work cut out again on what to do with the Big 12 teams. They're all theoretically good (except Tech) but you can't put a team in the field that goes like 6-12 in league play.

Oklahoma will probably beat Alabama just to screw with everyone.

Are we sure that Texas Tech is even a bad team? Their worst loss is Oklahoma and assuming they beat LSU in a few weeks that won't change the rest of the year. At the end of the day you gotta win conference games. Last year Iowa State made it at 7-11 in conference (undefeated OOC) …that sorta feels like the floor.

I mean they're not bad like South Carolina or Louisville, but I don't think they'd be a tournament team even if they weren't in the Big 12. They haven't beaten anyone at all. Hell we have five wins better than their best one.

But I also wouldn't be surprised at all to see them win their next 3 @K state, West Virginia, @LSU and be right in the thick of the bubble conversation going into February.

I want to get upset with whomever swapped our Q2 road game with Tulane for our Q4 home game against SMU, but I'm not sure 7-6 with a higher non-conf SOS is better than 8-5 with a win over SMU. It's hard to assume we would've won

Watched a lot of Tech games last year and this season there just seems to be something off with them.

Not exactly sure what's going on behind the scenes, but losing two of your best players in the portal after a S16 run is definitely not ideal, and it's impacting them.

I'd be shocked if they win more than 5-6 games in the Big 12 this year.

I personally don't care about whatever history there is. Unless TA tells me not to post it's not really something that affects me.

I'm also not begging for clicks. I know there are many on here that enjoy the analysis each year and I wanted to try something new that would allow me to have a better archive of previous editions as well as better formatting than just a super long wall of text that's admittedly hard to read.

I hope those that have enjoyed it in the past will continue to do so but it doesn't really affect me one way or another what choice you make.
