Man, all the really big home games are midweek (or before students are back with LSU), that's a tough break.

The Alabama hopefully won't matter for the postseason but at least that should be a decent crowd.

So glad we play Missouri twice every year.

Not really daunting from a order standpoint! Besides a Kentucky and Auburn within a few days! Nothing really stands out as "tough stretch" if we can head to Kentucky 5-0 in conference and potentially 1/2 losses total if any! We could be rolling at the right time! Assuming the magic number we discussed all pre season last year is similar, I think 10/11 wins is easily manageable! I'm predicting 12-6 steal some big wins but drop a head scratcher or two lol

The most critical stretch is the four games in January:

@South Carolina
Florida
@Kentucky
@Auburn

Go 2-2 in that stretch and they should be set-up for a good finish.

I think I'd argue this stretch is more critical:

2/7 (Tue) Auburn
2/11 (Sat) @ LSU
2/15 (Wed) Arkansas
2/18 (Sat) @ Missouri
2/21 (Tue) Tennessee

I expect us to beat Florida at home and South Carolina on the road, and lose to Kentucky and Auburn on the road, so there aren't any real "swing" games in that stretch right?

But this one has several. We need to clip at least one of Auburn, Arkansas, or Tennessee at home if we want to grab a good seed, and @LSU and @Mizzou are tricky games, probably both will be Q1 games.

I thought the opening 7 game stretch was quite difficult. We could easily go 3-4 in that stretch, but really need to go 4-3 or better.

Did the new LSU coach bring anyone of note? Just remember that mass exodus from that roster.

Nice to see a lot more ESPN/2 games along with the last game against Bama on CBS.

Don't love that 11 AM tip though.
