It's obvious he can't shoot. He either lost his stroke or maybe some juco stuff was embellished. I don't think he did his individual shooting drills with Buzz weekly and set the nets on fire and then Buzz said no we aren't going to have you shoot in games.

While it may be obvious, did the staff get duped or did he encounter some unreported injury after JUCO? Since it's obvious he can't shoot, it would be really hard to embellish stats and not have other people see that they were embelished.

No clue. But I think if he was even a decent shooter in practice they would let him shoot the three some.

I mean there is video out there. You have to dig a little, but this is a full game of him against McClennan County.

(In true JuCo style, the first half of the video is the women's game...)

Shot looks good, he went 6/12 and scored 20 points in that game.

This will always be a great mystery to me. He looked so awkward even shooting free throws. Like dikembe Mutumbo or something. I could never square the juco version with what we saw.

duped is a bit harsh of a word, I'd say bamboozled puts a lighter spin on it
