LOL. Seems like we dodged a bullet with this kid, where he wasn't eating up a scholarship spot on our roster all summer just to bail yet again right before school started. At least Buzz had adequate time to find another player.

I think he might just have parents giving him bad advice. I can't imagine the kid doesn't want to play and his parents are probably giving him bad guidance. Seems odd with his dad being a college basketball coach that he would not want his kid to play basketball (but his Dad's college didn't play last yearl. I get the pandemic thing and wanting to be cautious, but your kid can get Covid in Canada just as easy as he can playing basketball in the states.

Someone said he was on campus all last fall. If that's true, there is some other reason than COVID that he didn't want to play.

He wasn't on campus. But pretty sure he was living with his Uncle's family in town though, but wasn't going out and hanging with the team or going to classes on campus. Was pretty much in lockdown.

I wonder how EMan feels about this. Seemed to me he liked playing for Buzz at A&M and had developed into a leader on the team. I guess he chose to be more loyal to his main recruiter versus his head coach who has a good track record of developing players and preparing them for the League.

2 years on A&M's roster but didn't play in a single game. Now this. It is very weird but at least it is TCU getting left alone at the alter this time, instead of Buzz for a third consecutive year.
