It doesnt help people's expectations on here when guys are overrated all of the time in the Texags rankings. Buzz's first class had 7 guys in it none of which were composite 4 stars or rated in the top 130 in the country. But if you look at the commit list on here it shows 4 of them rated as 4 stars. According to Texags rankings we had 9 4 stars on the roster this year which would lead you to have big expectations. According to the composite rankings we actually only had 3 4 stars on the team, one was Flagg and 2 true freshman.

It did some. Branch was gonna be great, Reese was gonna be great, Caldwell was gonna be great. Am I missing anyone?

Add on: Trocha was gonna qualify... Trocha was gonna qualify... We suck this year, but the gilder class is coming (really the only legit excuse/wait and see.. )

At one point Texags led us to believe that we would have one of the best backcourts in the country with Branch and Reese.

To be fair, through their junior years lots of people thought that.

He was here eight years, that's three, and I don't think anyone thought Reese was gonna be "great." Although ironically that class ended up having one of the best point guards in school history, it just wasn't him.

There were SEVERAL recruiting classes that Kennedy had that the best you could say about them was "well maybe we don't need any freshmen to be good next year."

Kentucky just lost its McDonalds All-American PG so they are in the market for a replacement.

If TexAgs didn't set unrealistic expectations, it wouldn't exist.
