You clearly know nothing about their schedule. They had the hardest non-conference schedule in the country. And were also supposed to play Baylor but it got canceled bc of covid.

This goes to the adage that defense wins championships.

The 2021 Baylor Bears are a carbon copy of the 2014-2019 Golden St Warriors.

Small ball team that can shoot the lights out, and also play lockdown defense.

Baylor had 16 offensive rebounds; Gonzaga had 17 defensive rebounds.
Baylor took 18 more shots than Gonzaga did.

No they are not.

Gonzaga was never a good shooting team, and never that great defensively.

Baylor was the best 3 point shooting team in the Country, and also elite defensively.
They did this with a small ball team made up of mostly guards and forwards with no real center.

Baylor won the National title because their shooters force the opposing defense to cover the entire court.
