I would be feverishly campaigning to create a "Best of the NCAA Tournament series, that showcases the all-time best tournament games by round. Certainly, they won't be able to fill a standard 1st/2nd round weekend, but as sports starved as people are right now, I would be willing to bet that it would appeal to the masses.

Great idea. Get a proposal with a slate of games Nd proposed personalities and an agent. See where it goes.

A friend and I proposed to a friend of Ted Turner a music channel full of older rock music with budgets to go get art talent to go build videos and other experiences. We got asked to put together a formal proposal but decided to finish school instead. Doubt it would succeed, but you meet people and that's how it all works.

I thought about tasking bobinator with the job. Pick a mix of games that were good but you may not remember the outcome with classics.

Just let the same players on the same teams play through the same brackets

over NBA 2K20

and livestream it all on CBS All Access

So the UNI half court shot to upset the sips is in there but not our miracle comeback against them in the next game?

Looking forward to rewatching 1985 Nova-Georgetown next week...hard to imagine a team shooting 78% from the floor in a game of that magnitude, but Villanova did.

I enjoyed Duke vs. Kentucky '92.
It was amazing to see the level of talent again on both teams.

I wish that they would show '87 IU vs. SU, but I can find that on YouTube.

I was enjoying UNC-Georgetown until Trump ruined almost the entire second half. Didn't get back to basketball until the NC State-Houston game had started.

What happened? Remember the selfishness of WILLIAM Renquist dying in the middle of the Clemson game?

Meh. No Georgetown - Princeton. Easily one of the top 20 tourney games ever.

Rewatching Nova-Georgetown reminded me just how much different the game was rule-wise back then.

* No shot clock (45 second clock came in for 1986 tournament)
* No 3-point shot (came in for 1987 tournament)
* Clock didn't stop after a made basket at all unless a timeout was called. Timeouts were much more valuable then.

Teams could really pack zones in with no 3 point shot.
