This worked pretty well last year and we're pretty far into the season but might as well bring it back for those of us that are watching hoops on random nights rather than just starting up one-offs all the time.

Tonight has a potentially interesting tilt in the A-10 with Dayton vs Rhode Island. - For me Dayton isn't quite as good as their ranking when I've watched them, but the numbers guys all back them up. A win tonight and it's hard to imagine anyone other than the Flyers winning that league this year.

Elsewhere tonight:

- Michigan State is actually a road favorite tonight even though Illinois is ranked.
- Purdue could use a win tonight against Penn State. Purdue's schedule is bonkers this year and they're probably going to be an interesting case for the committee. KenPom has them as the #14 team in the country despite a record of 14-10.

Yeah Mason Jones can't do it all by himself. Our lack of depth has finally caught up to us. Making the NIT was about what we expected preseason though.

Maryland closes with a 14-0 run, including 4 straight 3-pointers, to beat Michigan State on the road. This could be Turgeon's year.

Good SEC games tonight. Mizzou survives an open Tyree 3 for the tie. I think for the "avoid the bottom 4" scenarios, this helps the way Kermits Hermits have been playing.

Baylor kind of kept the Jayhawks at arms reach in Lawrence, but it feels like Baylor is due for a loss at some point.

Ha, I said the same thing a while ago. He gets away with a lot of movement on his screens because of how big he is.

He also gets pounded on every layup. Tyler Davis is like "that guy is getting pounded".
