All schools compete with the fact that basically every game of any consequence is televised. That was not the case when BCG and Turgeon were here. Even if we get good, will people show up when they can watch from their couch?

Yes Cameron only seats just over 9,000, but it is always full. It takes a contribution of around $9,000 per year to get a pair of tickets to Duke basketball. And that's just to get into the door. When is the last time Reed was full? The LSU game a few years ago?

We offer a large school, SEC media attention, good practice facility and a good recruiting base. We don't offer a rabid fan base. Michigan and Michigan are huge football schools but they do OK in basketball.
