There is Sulphur in the water, it comes from the Carizzo aquifer
JMO, but I think it comes from the Football mentality. 'Football would never lose a scrimmage to SFA.' <- Pretty sure I saw that exact comment on Premium. That's great and all, but we don't have a 50+ man roster in Basketball or Baseball. It happens. They also don't realize SFA's track record recently, or that their head coach was an assistant under BK, or that we played almost everybody in the scrimmage.Quote:
There are seriously people wailing and gnashing teeth over the results of a scrimmage?
Good lord people say some really dumb things.numetalbizkitaggie said:Quote:

It's a scrimmage. Watch and see what we did right or wrong. Who played well, who didn't. Again, not that complicated.
More exciting than the time the football team played Mississippi State.Method Man said:
Losing the LSU close was exciting?
I still think my proposed strategy of fouling up 5 with 17 seconds left is a sound oneMethod Man said:
Eh both sucked. One we had a 99.9% chance of winning with five seconds left.

SFA squeaks past NAIA Southwest Assemblies of God on Thursday with a score of 68-67.
Is the goal of a scrimmage to "win" or something else? Just curious what you would be trying to get out of a scrimmage?expresswrittenconsent said:
We did (allegedly) tie texas in a scrimmage, though. At the end of the year when we have fewer than 3 true road wins, that tie Chuck Gay keeps bragging about is gonna look pretty good.
There is absolutely plenty to talk about, but this is actually a conversation about a scrimmage and its importance.expresswrittenconsent said:
It's amusing but not surprising that you think this is a conversation about a scrimmage. Nuance ain't just a river...
