I'm definitely in the "Grayson Allen is a giant ******r" club, but those two fouls weren't really up to the standard Allen has set for himself as despicable dirty plays. The first foul he was been held by the screener and when he shoved him the guy flopped. No biggie, but whatever. The second wasn't all that bad either, except that it's the Summer league and Allen is an established NBA player already. It's not like he's playing for his job in the Summer and nobody cares who wins/loses anyways. Regular season maybe (playoffs definitely) that kind of play happens pretty regularly, but it's completely unnecessary in the summer. In summary though: Grayson Allen = still a giant ******r...

Laettner was a total d*ck in college. But he WON. Four Final Fours, 3 NC games, 2 NCs. In the NBA he found his role, made the All-Star team with the Hawks...was a glue guy in Detroit, Washington, even Miami. If he had not ruptured his Achilles' the year after his All-Star appearance, he may have had 3-4 more All Star appearances.

the guy defending grayson allen uses an NBA team from thirty (30!) years ago as some kind of example justifying the behavior and then brings the Duke lacrosse story into it somehow.

Those Duke lacrosse players were just fantastic human beings. They hired prostitutes and strippers, yelled racial slurs at them, and wrote humorous emails about killing them. It was all in good fun. Sure, they didn't actually rape them and the prosecutor was thought he was a detective, but let's get real... There never would have been a case if those kids had carried themselves with a shred of character. I'll take Grayson Allen any day over those lacrosse players.
