Did we like him? I can't even remember what the midseason pot-banging looked like
As long as someone was not the athletic director, a player, someone on the coaching staff or board of regents, a booster with any influence, responsible for ticketing or promotional marketing, or involved in any way with concessions or the design and management of the sports facilities/parking...if the person was not any of those cases...then there is a small chance nobody on TexAgs often 'pot-banged' about him or her.Deputy Travis Junior said:

Hop is correct. We missed the boat on Cross.
Wait - doesn't that mean there's no ACs left from 2016?Basketball and Chain said:

What are the chances that BK would hire an assistant with head coaching experience? It's clear he's not going to step away anytime soon. So why would he hire someone that could be a logical choice to take his job?
His hand was forced when he hired Rick. It was either a big shake up or good chance he was done.DukeMu said:You mean because he's done it before...Mikeyshooter said:MarcAg said:

..and reneged on the *alleged* deal?
If Kennedy fails here in the next couple years, I would doubt we would replace him with someone from his staff, even if that person has head coaching experience. More likely we would go external for a current head coach.Aston04 said:His hand was forced when he hired Rick. Not same scenario now. So, I doubt a splash hire like that will be made. A head coach looking over his shoulder next year doesn't maximize his chances of hanging on to the job longer.

I agree with all that. I'm simply pointing out this man cares about A&M more than he cares about us and that we should put A&M over him. He's not an Ag. He's been paid more than fairly for his results.
