Her husband is a college basketball coach in Oklahoma, but really no personal connection. Says she found a newspaper article on Gillespie needing a kidney while cleaning the house.

Wow, that's nuts. Wish I could say I'd do the same for a non-loved one. Not to be callous, but how's his liver? I assume a prerequisite for a new kidney is that the recipient must prove they don't drink.
