So Wednesday starts the spring signing period for basketball.

I know we will look for a grad transfer or two, but other than the two juco guards; Brandan Mahan and Wendell Mitchell is there any other recruits we know we are after and have a realistic shot at? It doesn't sound like Mahan is deciding any time soon (at least not this week).

Those are the only names I've heard thrown around recently. I think we may lead for Mitchell. If we weren't to get either of those guys, well...that wouldn't be good.

So what's more true:

1) The Age have been to the Sweet Sixteen twice in three years, and should be able to recruit strongly

or

2) BK's reputation is now well know on the AAU and HS circuits, such that he is considered a low echelon coach and developer of talent.

Mitchell didn't list Cincy in his final five that he released last week. I think he wants to stay close because of his son. I'd say SMU or A&M. I think the Hogg news helps a lot.

That is correct I missed that. Had strong ties to Cincinnati due to their connection to community college. But they have a lot of guards.

Look a few weeks ago Cincinnati felt in a good spot over relationship with the community college. They've gotten a bunch of players out of it. It changed and I hadn't been keeping up and was wrong.

A&M makes more since as Cincinnati is pretty stacked at the guard spot.

As I mentioned several times, he has a son that he is close with and in his life. He was never going to Cincinnati or anywhere far from Rockdale, TX.
