I know its an Exhibition game, and doesn't really matter, but the ball and chain is a Tarleton grad and has been getting very excited about the game and it's making me nervous. I can tell she's ready for bragging rights.

She tells me TSU is actually a good basketball school, and they supposedly are normally near the top of not only their conference, but all of Division Two. Should we be worried? If the Ags lose Friday I'm never going to hear the end of it....

We should destroy them on physicality alone. Their roster lists one guy above 6-7, and he's a 6-8 guy that couldn't get any run at Florida Atlantic last year.

Tarleton wouldn't exist without Earl Rudder. A colleague of mine just finished a statue of Rudder that will be displayed on the campus.

This is actually a "good" exhibition opponent (if there is such a thing) to gear up for WVU.

If our front line got significantly depleted going to West Virginia and/or we are going to be playing a bunch of walk-ons in the back court again like last year, then might as well just concede that game as an L and save everybody the jet lag and significant travel time/expense. Can thank college kid knucklehead stupidity. I have an 18 year old myself, so yes I get they are somewhat brain damaged at that age. As I was too I suppose when I think about some of the dumb sh*t me and my buddies did in college. Oh well...hopefully they learn a life lesson from this.

If you are asking me, beats me. All I know from clues is that it is a) multiple nimwits (sorry, but they deserve the title right now cause there is no way that they didn't know better), b) nimwits who are not freshman (good to know that it is the older more mature players who are nimwits), and c) nimwits who people would pay to watch play basketball. And the punishment may bleed into the season beyond the exhibition. So, uh, yeah. I am waiting along with ya to hear the identity of the nimwits (and the punishment duration).

I remember running into Hogg and Trocha at Foundation the night after the Kentucky win for the SEC regular season title. It would not shock me if those two were involved.

Puff puff pass on telling you who it is, but they are selfish and need to wake the **** up for this University, for the fans, for their teammates and for their careers.

This season rests on the obvious -- BK's ability to coach the team and find a serviceable PG, but also keeping these knuckleheads out of trouble.
Damn shame that some of these freshman are the most mature players on the team.

That said, glad Aggie basketball is back. Been looking forward to this for a long time.
