Florida is definitely one of the best but LSU is probably going to suck.

Our other two best home games are probably Kentucky and Alabama and not only will we have students here, both of those games are on Saturdays which is great news.

The whole non-conference home schedule is garbage but we knew that already.

Things I like:

Big Saturday home games - Kentucky, Alabama, Missouri
No home game the last week of December
Two straight home games after the Kansas game
Ending with a home game against a quality opponent

Things I don't like:

Four of our last six games are on the road
Playing Florida when College Station will be a ghost town
Back to back away games at Kentucky and Tennessee and Georgia and Vandy. Kentucky and Tennessee are probably before school starts so shouldn't be as big of a deal, but those weeks are going to suck for travel.

That 4 games in 6 days section in late November (playing 2 games in NYC back to CS then out to LA) will be very interesting. They'll need plenty of depth.

I think he was referencing the big matchups with Northern Kentucky and Buffalo. The lack of student support could sway those games in favor of the Bulls and (insert No. Kentucky mascot here).

Pumpkinhead, Mrs. Pumpkinhead, and the youngest of the Pumpkinheaditos (the 7 year old daughter) will be in College Station on Friday night, November 24th to watch the Pepperdine game. Coming up from the tropics in Panama to spend Thanksgiving with sister in Dallas and my mother actually lives in C.S. so doing a quick visit with her as well. And (hey) a cupcake basketball game in Reed is happening at the same time so...figure we'll just run over there too.

Haven't gotten tickets yet but I figure Friday night November 24th, should extremely easy enough to find a seat or two. Will be first live Aggie sporting event for either the Mrs. or the young one. The youngster is a true basketball lover though and sometimes watches games (NBA or college) with me. I just tell her what color jersey to root for and she is pretty good at taking it from there.

19-12 overall 11-7 in conference 10 seed in NCAA tournament is my way too early prediction very tough nonconference schedule almost all of difficult games away from Reed Arena

That's on the low end of what I'd say are reasonable predictions.

It's like with the hurricane there's a "cone of uncertainty" where they're pretty sure it's going to hit somewhere in that cone, I'd put 19-12/11-7 on the low end of the cone. Definitely possible, but I'm more optimistic. Right now I'm at about 23-8ish.

If we only have 2 nonconference losses our conference record will be better than 11-7. That would mean that we only lose to top 10 teams on the road (Kansas and Arizona) and would beat all NCAA tournament type teams on the road or neutral courts including Oky State, West Virginia, USC, and championship game in nonconference tourney. We should only lose 2-4 conference games if we do that well in nonconference.
