PRINCETON, N.J./BROOKLYN, N.Y. A former Big 12 rival awaits the Texas A&M men's basketball team during the team's first game at the 11th annual Legends Classic as the Aggies will face off against Oklahoma State inside Brooklyn's Barclays Center on Nov. 20.
The semifinal between the Aggies and Cowboys will be one of two historic rivalry meetings at the event as in-state counterparts Penn State and Pittsburgh will also square off at Barclays Center. The winners of the two contests will meet for the Legends Classic championship the following evening, with the losers squaring off in the consolation game. All four games of the championship rounds of the Legends Classic will air on ESPN Networks.
This just isn't true. Tickets during the holiday break are SUPER cheap. Short of running around in busses and kidnapping people I'm not sure what else you'd want them to do during the break. They advertise it on the radio, in the paper, on social media, etc, etc.jja79 said:
I assume you mean students but they don't really turn out anyway. Locals are in town but there's no effort that I can see to market to them and try to turn some into fans.

I've wondered for years how the team could build up a bigger local following but I don't have any particularly good ideas. They visit schools and that sort of thing already.
Maybe play one of those garbage non-con games at Bryan High or something.
