SEC records list 16 games in which conference teams shot at least 70 percent from the field, with only Ole Miss (76.3) against Vanderbilt in 1983 as a conference game, so Texas A&M might've had the second-best shooting performance all-time in an SEC game.

This is like a powerpoint that an engineering professor made. The formatting leaves a lot to be desired but the actual info is interesting.

Sorry I am not as smart as you guys. Tried to eliminate the garbage and it wanted to stay so you would have something to complain about and make fun of. Glad I didn't fail for your sake. lol

It almost makes it sound like BK out-coached Bruce Pearl. But I'm sure this is just a case of players over-coming bad coaching.

Auburn is just a bad defensive team. They had given up 60+ points in the second halves of their previous three games, then we shoot nearly 70% on them. I can only imagine what folks would say about BK if that happened here.

Not wanting to start a thread about Pearl's coaching skills, but at some point performance at that poor of a level is a reflection on the coaching staff.

You can imagine we'd be pissed like we are pissed when we lose more than half the sec games we've played despite it being a terrible conference.

We are pissed. Auburn fans are pissed. LSU fans are pissed. Ole miss fans are pissed. Arkansas fans are pissed. Mizzou fans are pissed. Georgia fans are pissed. So much love in SEC basketball country right now.

Despite lots of coaching churn in past few years, have yet to see SEC develop much consistency outside bell cow Kentucky in terms of good hoop programs that can make NCAA tourneys in consecutive seasons.

And yet the conference did the best we've ever done in the Big 12/SEC Challenge?

5-5, sooooo good.

4 of the wins featured a better SEC team that happened to get matched with a team at the bottom of the Big 12. Hardly impressive.

So just for the record, this post makes zero logical sense. Tennessee, Georgia, Vanderbilt and Auburn all won. Yes, one of those wins was against bottom feeder texas but the other 3 were wins against a Big 12 team currently projected to be in the tournament by an SEC team that at or under .500 in SEC play. 2 of the top 5 in the SEC didn't play so if anything the match ups were skewed against the SEC.

And obviously basic logic would tell us if a better SEC team happened to get matched with a team at the bottom of the Big 12 (which really didn't happen anyway) then the inverse would be true too.

Not saying that we should brag about 5-5. Just pointing out that your post is wrong and dumb.

It's ok, it's one of his most positive posts ever.
