What does part time student mean here. Thought he had to be a "full time" student to play.

ELI is a fantastic program A&M has to help non native English speakers get acclimated. Trocha came through the ELI and they love him there.

I'd think most international players would be part-time their first semester. From what I remember, you can be a part-time student and be eligible as long as you take enough qualifying hours in the other semesters. That's why football players usually take more classes in the spring.
