You aren't going to make shots when you are turning it over and putting up low percentage shots.

Wililams shooting a 3 pointer from the top of the key is not the recipe for success.

Glad we gave our stellar coach that extension! Kennedy is a Sumlin wannabe. So far he's living up to it!

To me, even with our **** guard play, this team should be able to beat vatech. I just don't understand what offense they are trying to run. There have been almost 10 easy buckets missed around the basket, not counting another 5-6 that were somewhat difficult. What makes it even more confusing, is they will go through sequences wehre the offense looks great for about 5 possession, so not really sure what to make of it all.

The way we play, unless we totally control every aspect of the game, when we come across a faster team like VTU, we are going to get eaten alive...

Yeah it's all coaching to have your team shoot better from outside the 3 point line than the other team shoots from inside the 3 foot line. We are getting plenty of easy shots but THE PLAYERS can't make them. This is THE STORY of the game so far.

Well that half was mostly garbage. We have up corner 3s all day, we aren't finishing, and our guards have no ability to dribble at the basket.

VT will miss those threes in the second half. We need to capitalize by actually making shots ourselves.

Play right before half, Davis switches on the ball screen and their guard goes right by for the layup right before the buzzer.

Why on earth would Davis be switching any guard/big screens? Unreal

having Collins in a game this caliber tells me all I need to know about Kennedy. where is smith. why is Hampton even on our team. he's awful. Collins is worse.

Yep, this is awful basketball, the fact that we have played a walk-on Chris Collins at guard for 10 minutes in the first half is hard to watch. Collins did not completely fall asleep in the zone but is a complete non-factor on offense. Their guards are playing so much better than ours it isn't even close. So bad they decided to stick 6'0" walk-on out there. I think I am done watching. I made a mistake watching bad Aggie football last night as well and there is only so much bad Aggie sports that I can stomach on a holiday week.

One last comment. Folks who have talked about playing Hogg at the SG spot. Games like this make me just not see it. Against better teams he needs two good guards out there with him.

Would love to see us run more of what Kansas runs with Bigs; simple high low stuff. Keep the guards moving and look for back doors when guards overplay

Guess what - every coach in the nation can use the excuse that the players didnt make shots. After 5 years we should prolly find a coach whose players can make shots like those other teams have.

If we are relying on a guy like Collins to play significant minutes in conference play then we are definitely toast. Forget tourney IMO. Playing walk-ons vs real teams during non-garbage time rarely ends well.

If we play zone in 2nd half or have Collins play I'll be upset. On the offensive end, Tyler should have at least 20 shots a game. This is ridiculous how we go away from giving him the ball. I still think we can get back in this game but you have to do what this team is build for which inside post play.

I don't know why anyone has ever suggested Hogg at the two.

Have you seen him try to move laterally or ball-handle well? It's not happening. Need him coming off screens a la UNI's system for open 3's and need to post him up down low and hit turnaround jump shots mid-range a la the Black Mamba.

He won't be an NBA defender unless somehow his lateral quickness improves drastically. Same result on the offensive end of the floor. We have one above average ball-handler and that is Admon and he has looked like he has been lacking confidence.

Our 1 made three was total luck too. Banked it in by Vila.

The only gaurd we have, Glider, is having a terrible year. He had to play lights out for us to be able to do anything this year.

If he continues like this we might not make the NIT

Guess you missed last year. We had one of our best teams in school history. Players made shots. Today they have not.

Our new AD has his work cut out. Aggie sports suck. Just very apathetic to aggie sports. We get a little taste of success only to suck again.

Playing some zone defense is fine but Collins in there makes it extremely difficult on offense. Good teams don't let you get away with having a Walk-on PG who can do nothing more than pass the ball around the perimeter. They are ignoring him and just doubling on everyone else.

Okay I understand why you think that but I think this is a one year dip.

Next year we will win 25+. We will have a ton of returning talent and some really good guys coming in including JJ Caldwell. It should be a great year next year. Just hang in there.

I know some will point to the quality of team pre-last year, but we will have as much if not more talent next year than we did last year. Next year and the years' beyond will be fun as long as Kennedy keeps recruiting at the level he is.

We are returning 3 freshmen and Tonny. We lost 4 seniors and 3 of those guys are playing in the NBA or in the D-league. The talent discrepancy from last year to this year is large.

Also you just used Tavario Miller as an example of a guy we are returning... Not promising haha but I see what you are saying.

I added Miller after listing the 4 quality players. It was ajoke

I still maintain that if Trocha can ever just have it click in his head, it will help us solve our lack of a PG. Then we could legit punish teams with our big play. He is actually getting into the right spots, just seems to be too soft/not quite talented enough to amke the play

Total suckage. We should have promoted stansbury and canned this ****ty coach. The only reason we were any good last year was bc of stansbury.
