Just set up my Delonghi Dinamica this evening. Pretty simple and some nice customization. Made one shot and decent crema but might adjust the grind to a little more fine tomorrow although they say it takes 3-5 brews for the settings to kick in. Only took a small sip since it was 8:45 but tasted good. Looking forward to a nice americano in the morning and a latte for the wife.

Had a Delonghi La Specialista for about a year now. It's fantastic! Settled on Illy beans and we're very happy with the results. Good crema on the espresso shots every time. Love the built in tamping mechanism. Everything I make with it is has been very good.

If others have suggestions for beans I would love to hear them.

I don't use a super auto machine but have a Rocky grinder and Gaggia classic so YMMV with these beans.

For a long time I used Lavazza Super Crema but a couple of years ago swapped Maromas Orphea. It's very chocolaty and makes a great latte.

Both the Lavazza and Maromas beans are medium roast espresso and neither are oily at all.

The Philips 4300 with LatteGo has been pretty great since I've gotten it set up.

Have very few minor complaints:
1. You can only update the espresso to do a double (two actual espresso pulls). Can't do it for any other drink, even if you increase say the volume of milk. So you end up needing to first make an espresso (or double) before making a latte if you want a double or triple.

2. The LatteGo contraption sits a little too close to the front edge. Have to be very careful with the cup used and placement. And when you do a clean cycle on the LatteGo it's best to use a dregs cup as some of the liquid rolls off the front drip tray.

Other than that it's close to perfect.

Just pulled the trigger on a Breville Barista Express.

Breville Barista Express Espresso Machine, Brushed Stainless Steel, BES870XL https://a.co/d/3psUITq

I also ordered some espresso double walled cups, a milk pourer, knock box and a distributor/tamper. Are there any other mist have accessories?

And to open up another whole can of worms, what is a go to coffee bean? I know that everyone has their own preferences but something I can order online to try would be ideal.

This thread has been great to follow with a lot of useful info.

Lavazza super crema
I just started some Death Wish dark roast
And I have a bag of Kicking Horse Cliff Hanger up next.

Another top rated for super automatics was Coffee Bean Direct Italian Roast

I think what you bought includes a tamper, milk pourer, and knock box. Not positive though. I almost bought that same model but my wife didn't want to tinker as much. Enjoy! I just bought some medium roast beans from HEB and they've been great

If you have some local roasters give them a try. Fresh and well roasted beats whatever you get from the store/online any day.

Seattle coffee gear has 15% off on superautomatic machines. We bought the Philips 3200 lattego recently and really like it.
