I bought these pre-made refried beans at the HEBs........and they were pretty darn good.


Note the third ingredient, and that explains it.

I added lard, sour cream, salt, and garlic to canned refried beans. Tastes like the restaurant.

I thought they were terrible and I love chorizo con frijoles. The plain ones are solid though
