Looking for a good recipe for the sauce but not sure which Chile pods I need. I searched the internerwebs and some call for New Mexico red chili's, Anaheim chiles and ancho chili.
That's a mole sauce, not a chile sauce. Raisins, almonds, Mexican chocolate, etc.HTownAg98 said:
I've used this one before. It calls for all anchos, but you can mix them up too. I wouldn't use all New Mexico red chiles, or it will taste like enchilada sauce.
