I kinda want something other than Philly Cheesesteak. Benny is on a beef kick and that seemed like it would cook quickly.
Saute it with onions and peppers and serve as a dish - yes, similar to sandwich but just use it on its own. Also, cook it and use it as a pizza topping.
If he likes Asian, try Mongolian beef.
If he likes Asian, try Mongolian beef.
Swap out the hoagie for a tortilla and serve with guac, pico, etc.
Make a sauce in separate pan. Equal parts mirin:soy:sake:sugar. Cook until sauce thickens and coats back of spoon. Then cook meat with veggies hot and fast in a wok. Serve over rice.
stroganoff is pretty easy
Bahn Mi would be a twist on using it for sandos
chip beef on toast if you are nostalgic
Stir fry with veg and make a sauce with asian things you have in your fridge and pantry

Loaded fries (or other taters). Cook it up with some peppers and onions. Serve it over said fries or other taters.
Or just rethink your original thought. The answer is always Philly cheesesteaks.
