Clanking around in my head good ideas for fusion tacos. I garnish with cilantro, queso fresco, seasoned rice, and salsa verde or homemade guacamole sauce. I already make street tacos with chicken, steak, fish, or shrimp.

Tandoori Tacos (I have a good tandoori chicken recipe)
Steak finger tacos.

Any other ideas? TIA.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

If it's something you like to eat, it's never inappropriate to wrap it in a tortilla. Except for soup. Wrapping soup in a tortilla would be difficult and messy.

And if you wrap it in a flour tortilla (unless its a breakfast taco), then there is something wrong with you.

Keep the ideas coming. I'm trying out a new carne asada recipe this weekend.

I like to make everything from scratch. No mixes, etc.

that place sucks big time. when the first thing you smell is store bought tortillas in a taco joint, you know they are doing it completely wrong.

I seem to have remembered that I ate there once in Austin or DFW, and thought it sucked. But, I'll take the ideas it has. Looking to also get a tortilla press and make my own tortillas.

They are made in house. Do you mean that the ingredients are low quality?

I've been there maybe 3 times in N Dallas and had a good experience each time. Maybe I need to go again to see what's up...or, maybe not.

i've only been to the one in Houston. maybe this is location specific. but, when it's surrounded by some great taco joints and there is a Mexican market down the street that sells fresh tortillas, i was instantly annoyed knowing i could be eating a much better taco for less.
