Are there any Aggie owned Texas wineries out there?

Chris Brundrett of William Chris is an Aggie. He's about as big as anyone in Texas wine right now.

one of the Netflix wine documentaries had an Aggie who bought a winery in Napa and restarted it.

+1. Really nice guy that is building a strong loyal customer base. They are really doing well in Hye.

Becker had/has an Aggie on their team, not sure about his stake in ownership though

Inwood may not be Aggie owned, but Cecil 77' does work there and will welcome any Aggie. Dan Gatlin(owner/winemaker) is very knowledgeable and offers side by side tastings (Inwood vs. their international counterparts) by reservation.

Italics in Napa is owned by the Martin family from McAllen. Tayler '07 is the winemaker and a nice guy.

Dan Gatlin owns Inwood Estates and although not an Aggie, puts up with one regularly!

Inwood is open 7 days. Come see me any Saturday.

Also, be on the look out for our new label "Chateau Marie La Rose" a classically styled left bank Bordeaux wine. Should be out in a few months!

And a little further in the future a "Spottswoode" style Napa Cab. Label made public shortly...

Ah, had my wires crossed. Cecil, you have served my wife and I several times when we've been in for tastings.

Please introduce your texags connection next time. (No telling what it could get you..) And if you have introduced yourself several times, apologies for not remembering your texags handle. Getting old is not for the faint of heart.

And I would add that our 2015 Chateau Marie LaRose will be introduced next month.

And though not Aggie produced, 100% of the grapes come from the vineyard just west of Fredericksburg owned by Charlie Pence '51, an Aggie Distinguished Alum. So it's sorta Aggie wine!

For those of y'all in the Houston area, Decant Winery opened up in Oak Forest a month or two ago. The head vintner got her masters at A&M and the wine is pretty damn good.
