I wish I had a recipe but last year's super bowl party had stuffed Anaheim peppers with Whataburger breakfast sausage and cream cheese.

Sour grapes.

I'm a Saints fan. We're actually going to be in Costa Rica so don't even have to worry about it.

This guy got some kind of pepper reamer for Chile replenished and cored them. Then took a pastry bag and squirted the stuff in so you didn't have to cut in half. Awesome.

  • Brussels sprouts wrapped in bacon, then smoked or grilled
  • in a crockpot: 4 blocks cream cheese + pound of browned breakfast sausage + 2 cans Rotel (serve with tortilla chips)
  • Guac is always a solid idea.
  • nacho bar with a bunch of options so everyone can make their own

Well the host of our party is also celebrating a birthday so her favorite dip is spinach artichoke. So I'm doing the artichoke dip wontons. Any helpful tips would be great. I'm really wanting to make an appearance and dash early so this should make that easy.

Really need to be made on site, but panko crusted, deep fried pimento cheese balls with candied jalapeo jelly is tasty. Highly recommended.

Also, deep fried queso. Make queso, pour in dish and freeze. Cut into planks then bread in crushed tortilla chips. Fry. Always a crowd pleaser.

Changing plans and taking advantage of the 60 degree weather. Now hosting and smoking some pork butts. Also making an apple-jalapeno coleslaw to go with it.

I like to dip the McNugget into buffalo chicken dip. It's nice because the flavor of the buffalo chicken dip really bring out a similar flavor in the McNugget.

There is also the old 'garbage bread' standby

Make the dough, stuff it with whatever meat and vegetables you have handy, roll, bake, slice, and serve.

I ended up making David Chang's Bo Ssam. I had to steal a couple of the cracklings because I know they will be gone soon.
