What is your favorite seasoning to put on burgers? We used to use a blend and I am tired of it and want to try something new.

This. It's supposed to take like meat, not soup mix, worc. sauce or whatever meatloaf mix you use. I then add cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato, mustard and mayo to my burger.

Ditto. We use it on grilled veggies, too.

sea salt
tellicherry pepper
paprika
fresh minced garlic

I have been putting a pat of butter under the patties when I pull them off. I have been getting a little carried away with the butter lately.

Thanks to a tip from this board I started slipping a little butter on them when they are still on the grill before i toss the cheese on. Cheese holds it in and then BOOM... butter surprise

I make the patties and husband grills them. My recipe (per pound of beef) is 3 tablespoons of minced onion, 1 teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons of water. Nice juicy burgers.

Lawry's & pepper for big crowds and cheap burgers (think Sam's or Costco) is a go to. Also, have a beef au jus ready when they come off so they don't dry out before wrapping.

Montreal is a good choice too, just not for bigger crowds because of cost.

I actually like Johnny's seasoning salt and pepper on homemade burgers. Throw em on the smoker then finish in on a blazing cast iron with butter, a little garlic and Old Bay, before cheesing it.

The surface of my Blackstone griddle and the sear it gives is far better seasoning than anything you can shake from a jar.

So, I finally tried the Bolner's Fiesta Hamburger Deluxe seasoning and that was really good. Had a lot of flavor and was not over powering. My wife and most importantly the kids liked it!

I will also be trying the Chipotle Hamburger Seasoning at some point in the near future, although I think the kids won't like that one as much. They don't like the spicy stuff as much as I do.
