This is salted caramel I just made. It will go into meringue cookies tomorrow after it's fully cooled. Last week, made a whiskey caramel to go on a cake. The husband always has to make it at least twice because he has a bad habit of crystallizing the sugar. I think the whiskey caramel would go pretty well with pretzels. We put it on homemade marshmallows before and it was great. I think I'm going to top the meringues with a little maldon salt too.
