We have some cutcos. They cut great, lifetime sharpening/warranty, and I can throw them in dishwasher. I'm happy with that.

Have used Calphalon Katanas for 7 years now with nary an issue. Plus they look good.

I got a set of steak knives for finishing 2nd in a sales contest. The guy who got 3rd was fired.
