Yes, there is usually a line.
Rudy's just might have to do.
I work in Tomball and pass Tejas 2 or 3 times a week at lunch. I've seen a line 3 or 4 times tops. Today there was no line whatsoever.
There are better BBQ options in Tomball.
Last Saturday the line was about 2 hours long from getting in line to getting food. (It was posted on another forum on TA)
On Friday I got here at 1045 and probably got my food around 1115-1120.
It was named one of the top 50 BBq spots in Texas. I went in with an open mind and came away very impressed.
Where else in Tomball is better?
