Arthur Bryant's: The staff was great. The BBQ was sauce centric.

Joe's KC: 30 minute wait. Awesome smoke flavor. Pulled pork was incredible. Put it on your bucket list.

Arthur Bryant's is to BBQ what Pat's/Gino's is to cheesesteaks. Joe's is great but Q39 is supposed to be better.

Believe he means they featured the sauce more than the meat. BBQ that is "sauce centric"

Went to Arthur Bryant's on the way to Omaha a few weeks ago. Ribs were actually bland. They were cooked well just required to sauce them yourself. Burnt ends were okay some a little over cooked.

Bryant's has the atmosphere of old school BBQ joint. Especially downtown with the history of the place. Baseball etc.

Joe's has the food. The fact that there is the essence of a convenience store involved is a little funny. But the food is really good.
