Temps are climbing and, whether you are hanging out at a pool or not, sometimes you (or the significant other) want a refreshing adult beverage.

So let's kick up a thread to track some of your favorites.

Here's a little twist on the St Germain cocktail which I highly
recommend!

INGREDIENTS IN THE COCKTAIL

1.5 parts St-Germain
2 parts Champagne (Costco's Kirklands Champagne works well)
Lime wedge

HOW TO MAKE THE COCKTAIL

Add the St-Germain and champagne to a Collins glass filled with ice.
Stir well and squeeze in the lime (and drop it in).

Enjoy!

Love a good Mai Tai by the pool

50/50 Moody June and Fever Tree with a twist of lime

1 cup frozen peaches, pured. White rum. Done.

Edit to add:
Did this with some Georgia peaches I had frozen and used lemon juice to help preserve and keep color over that time. The drink was simple and straightforward, and nice for an afternoon of watching the Masters when it was on.

2 ounces gin -- London dry gin
3/4 ounce orange curacao
3/4 ounce lime juice
1 dash Bitters -- Angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters

Delicious but dangerous. Filling a yeti with these is a good way to pass out at the pool!

Lemoncello, tonic water and mint. Very refreshing

Izze grapefruit soda, fresh lime, any blanco/silver I have laying around. Quick Paloma

I took something from a Casamigos and it's pretty good....for me.

Mezcal rinse - I have sombra on hand. Lot of folks use vida.
1.5 oz Repo
.5oz pineapple juice
Theirs calls for agave nectar. I usually make sweet & sour at the house so I use .5oz that instead.
2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
Add ice. Shake. Strain. On the rocks.

Pour the following into a pitcher & drink
Large frozen limeade
Fill empty limeade can w/tequila & mix
Add can of 7up
Add bottle of dos equis
Squeeze half an orange
Squeeze fresh pineapple slices
Add 2 handfuls of ice, stir & serve

Mint julep -bourbon, mint leaves, sugar, lots and lots of ice.

And yes, use an inexpensive bourbon. I like Whiskey River for this.

Summer Beer
1 can frozen lemonade
1 can full of vodka (empty lemonade)
4 lite beers of your choice

Mix all together in a pitcher and serve over ice. Will sneak up on you. Try the Mexican variation using limeade, tequila and Mexican beer

My wife has been drinking these for about the last 2 months - it's her new favorite. We don't follow a specific ratio, but eyeball 3:2 of Aperol and Prosecco, splash of soda and an orange slice. We judge more by its color.
